Cat Saves Owner's Life- Real Story Of Jung

Amy Jung and her young son Ethan went on a trip to The Humane Society near their home in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, where they met Pudding, an white and orange cat who was around 21 lbs. at the time.

The pair had a great conversation with Pudding's caretaker and spontaneously decided to adopt him and his furry friend Wimsy that day.

It didn't take them long before they got used to their new home - what they were delighted about! However, something terrible happened after the Jungs had settled down at home just hours later.

Amy Jung, a woman who has lived with diabetes her entire life like so many others in America, was sleeping. She was having a diabetic seizure while sleeping, and she would never have been able to figure out how to deal with it herself because she lost consciousness.

Fortunately, Pudding, Amy's diabetic alert cat, was there for her. He sat on her chest and nipped her face until she woke up, at which point she yelled out for help. Sadly, her son was sleeping and couldn’t hear anything.

Then, Pudding ran into Ethan's room and jumped onto his bed, spurting meows of distress until the young boy suddenly came back from hyperspace and heard his mom calling for help!

According to an interview with the Press Gazette, Jung claims that the cat helped her stay awake long enough for doctors to arrive. In addition, doctors have diagnosed that Pudding can sense when Jung's blood sugar levels are low and will even sit or meow at her feet to alert others that Amy is in need of help. How amazing it is!

Some Other Stories Where Cat Become A Hero

It may not reach the level of renown as its canine counterpart, but research has shown that cats also can detect illnesses in people. But their gift mostly resides in the nose: according to a report by The Mirror, a cat named Oscar can sense when someone is about to die - up to three hours before they pass.

Because Oscar only shows affection towards his ill patients right before they pass away, researchers have concluded that he knows these people will not live much longer and chooses to spend time with them during these final moments.

Though dog owners say dogs have been doing this for centuries, cats have only recently earned a spot on the bandwagon.

The impulse to care for another living being, a cat, in this case, has been well noted by humans throughout history. For example, experts have determined that ancient Egyptians cultivated cats over 4,000 years ago for various purposes, including their use as healers and protectors of homes.

It is believed that domesticated animals were highly valued and did not enjoy the same freedom as their wild counterparts. That’s because they were regarded as an essential link between humans and the gods. A hereditary strain has persisted within modern-day domestic cats.
